Bathtime is all fun and games until someone has to wash his hair.
We went for a trial lesson at the local dance studio, and Stella LOVED it. Hugo tried to join in, too.
It was Stella's fifth birthday today. We celebrated with an attempt at breakfast in bed (which I should add was turned down, because, duh, mummy and papi, we eat our meals at the table), and then presents. The main event, I think, was an Elsa dress and a microphone that sings a few bars of Let It Go (over and over and over and over) which was kindly sent from Nannie.
We did a small birthday party with her playgroup friends. There was cake and snacks and a little swimming her her friend Kai's pool. It was all pretty fun and low key, just the way we like it.
His first ever colouring masterpiece. <3 <3
She found Rolf's old ipod, and asked if she could use it. We got out her headphones and let her listen to some swiss punk rock or whatever gems she found on there. Suddenly this little girl seems not quite so little anymore.
Stella graduated from Preschool today. She stood in front a packed room full of grownups and sang for everyone the Cicak Song. I was totally blown away by her confidence.
We dug out this old camera, and she's been captivated by taking pictures of her little life.
