So, my little band of travelers is off again, this time to a place that starddles the border of tropical paradise and bonkers what the hell am I thinking. (Related: active volcanoes.)
I know that there are people in the world who are able to pack days, even weeks in advance of a trip. I am not one of those people. It is like advanced preparation somehow conflicts with the laws that govern the universe, like gravity, and stuff. So, it should be noted that I am panning on posting nonsense on the internet, getting a pedicure, and possibly buying a pair of shoes that is totally unnecessary yet still absolutely required before I take off all before I get around to packing. Oh, and um, I still need to book some rather vital flights. Wait, wut? (I am clearly not a grown-up human.)
Anyway, I have some nice things to share. Wanna see?
So, here's a super cool retail concept that I can totally get behind: Ethical Ocean, a shopping site where the sellers are not gigantic jerks.
I want this. Just fyi.
Here's some totally rad printable colouring sheets. Now, I just need to set up my printer. (PS, i've only livedn my house for six months and I haven't got around to this vital task quite yet.)
Some people's creativity just totally astounds me. Case in point: ultrasound art.
I'm totally swooning over this cat pillow.
Here's a lovely blog written by a fellow global muma.
I'm working on a new project on Expat Partner Success called Exapt Partner Success Stories and I'd love for you to check it out. We'll be featuring stories of expat partners who moved across oceans and continents, lost and rebuilt their identities, and ultimately found a way to live their best life abroad. If you're interested in participating, send me an email!
