40/52

"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2015"

Stella: I missed her silliness, the funny things she says, the way she loves her brother, and the way she really pushes me to grown.

Hugo: I missed his bounciness, his command to "play! cars!", and the way he gets this cheeky look on his face before running away from me.

Playing catchup on my Project 52. I've been away for a while. I didn't intend to take a two week blogging break, but I did, accidentally. And it felt great. Truth be told, I didn't even think once about blogging while I was gone. I don't know what that means, really, other than that I had a great holiday ;)

I went away to San Fransisco for a week! A week! Without the kids. And while I missed them terribly, like I really missed them, I bored my friends endlessly with stories of the cute things that my children do, and I maaaay have gotten a little teary at the sight of a mother tickling her one-and-a-half-year-old in the most gorgeous light.

Anyway, perhaps I'll write a little about my time in SF later. Until then, there's emails to catch up on, photos to edit, and lots and lots of laundry.
