Jakarta Sessions 2020

I’m thrilled and delighted to be coming back to your crazy and tender city, and I can’t wait to photograph you all! If you’d like to sign up, you’ll find my schedule below. Here’s a little about how it all works:
SESSION INFO
Sessions are 90 minutes long (+/-) but please do allow for two hours incase we are slow to get started. Sessions include the shoot itself, a full gallery of images (usually 70+) downloadable in high- and resolution, a pre-shoot consultation, and a customized shoot plan. The fee is 6.8 million payable by PayPal or in cash on the day of your session.
We will completely customize your shoot. Once you’ve booked, we’ll chat on the phone or by video call. I’ll ask you about your goals or visions for your photographs, and then we’ll come up with a plan accordingly. We can shoot in your home, outside in your neighbourhood, in your favourite place, or we can wander and explore together. Jakarta is full of unique beauty, and I can’t wait to discover it with you.
BOOKING
To book, pick the time slot that works best for you! Once you’ve booked in your slot, I’ll send you an email with some additional information and some forms. Then we’ll make a plan for your pre-shoot consultation.
A note on timing
If you plan to do your photographs primarily outside I strongly advise that you select an early slot. The best time would be 7 AM. The next best option is 3 PM. The Jakarta sun is strong and hot. Early mornings provide the best, most flattering light, and have the added advantage of being most likely to be not raining. Outdoor sessions can not be booked during the hight of the day (9:30 AM to 3:00 PM) as the sun is just too bright.
Should you prefer the intimacy and unique story of your home, and would like to do your session inside, we have much more flexibility. Important factors to consider here would be the time of the day when your kids are most happy; and when your home gets the best light.
